FAQs

  • Therapy and coaching serve distinct purposes in supporting individuals. Therapy typically focuses on healing past traumas, managing mental health conditions, and exploring deep-rooted issues. It often involves diagnosing disorders and providing treatment interventions by licensed mental health professionals. In contrast, coaching is more future-oriented, aiming to enhance personal and professional growth, develop skills, and achieve specific goals. Coaches primarily work with clients who seek guidance, accountability, and motivation to create positive changes in their lives. While both therapy and coaching involve introspection and self-improvement, they differ in their approaches, goals, and professional backgrounds.

  • I believe that coaching is a collaborative process where clients are empowered to explore their goals, values, and potential in a safe and nonjudgmental space. My approach is client-centered, focusing on the individual's unique strengths and needs. I strive to support clients in gaining clarity, setting meaningful goals, and taking action steps towards creating the life they desire. Through active listening, empathy, and asking powerful questions, I work to challenge limiting beliefs and help clients unlock their full potential. I view coaching as a transformative journey that fosters self-discovery, growth, and empowerment.

  • All information disclosed during our sessions will be kept strictly confidential. I will not share any details about your personal life, goals, challenges, or progress with anyone outside of our coaching relationship without your explicit consent.

There are certain circumstances where confidentiality may need to be breached, such as:

    • If you disclose intentions to harm yourself or others.

    • If there is a legal requirement to disclose information (e.g., a court order).

    • If there is evidence of abuse or neglect of a vulnerable individual.

  • During the initial consultation, I have two goals: determine if coaching is the right fit for your goals/needs and for you to determine if Iā€™m the right fit for you. I will never take on a client unless I truly believe we are a good fit and that coaching is the best option.

  • A typical length is anywhere from 2 - 6 months. That said, there are people who need less and those who need more. Every client is unique and the length is based on how often we meet, their individual goals, and the amount of work that is done outside of coaching sessions to help meet client goals.
